New Report Warns: Encounters with UAP May Pose Serious Health Risks
Time for Transparency and Action
On August 25, 2025, the Unhidden Foundation (uNHIdden) released a landmark report investigating the health effects of encounters with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), a topic long overlooked in public health and policy discussions. This new publication compiles and analyzes decades of medical literature, government studies, and firsthand accounts, offering one of the most comprehensive looks to date at the physical and psychological impact of UAP contact on human beings.

The report opens with a foreword by Dr. Jacques Vallée, one of the world’s most respected scientists in the field of anomalous phenomena. His contribution underscores the seriousness and scientific rigor of the work, which brings together peer-reviewed studies, government-commissioned research, and documented cases of individuals reporting lasting health effects following close encounters with UAP.
In this report, he states:
“Witnesses have sometimes told me they did not dare tell doctors what had happened to them, so they made up a story to account for their complaint — never very convincing. Since the majority of cases never get reported officially, particularly among the weirder categories, authorities have found it convenient to ignore them.”
What the Report Reveals:
UAP are real. This is no longer speculation. Official documents from the U.S. Government and supporting analysis prepared for the UK Government have confirmed the existence of UAP. They are not theoretical. They are observed, recorded, and acknowledged at the highest levels of defense and intelligence.
UAP can affect human health. The evidence is mounting, with several cases of injury and illness emerging from both civilian encounters and military incidents. These effects are not limited to anecdotal reports. In fact, U.S. Government-commissioned research, including classified studies, has documented physical and neurological symptoms in individuals exposed to UAP at close range.
There are many examples in the paper of specific UFO cases in which these effects have been analyzed and studied. Some include the Rendlesham Forest incident of 1980 and the Falcon Lake incident of 1967.
However, one of the most compelling cases is the Cash-Landrum incident of 1980. With this incident, Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and grandson Colby Landrum observed a diamond-shaped UAP emitting intense heat and light. This would leave reported effects on the witnesses such as Severe burns, eye inflammation, hair loss, vomiting, diarrhea, extreme fatigue, and hospitalizations. Betty Cash later developed breast cancer and required multiple surgeries.Dr. Brian McClelland described her symptoms as “textbook radiation poisoning.” Legal action was taken against the U.S. Government but was ultimately dismissed
In the paper, they state that likely causes of harm include exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation, especially in the UHF and microwave spectrum. Victims have also reported a range of other symptoms, including autoimmune responses, unexplained physical wounds, and serious psychological trauma. These are not isolated incidents — they reflect patterns that call for immediate scientific investigation.
The public has been left in the dark. Most civilians, including those who may have been affected, have little or no access to credible, consolidated information about the health impacts of UAP. Key findings from government research, particularly from agencies like the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), remain classified. This lack of transparency has left a vacuum in public understanding and scientific inquiry.
Why It Matters:
This report makes one thing clear: the health impacts of UAP encounters must be treated as a public health concern, not just a fringe curiosity or defense issue. As the global conversation around UAP evolves, it’s essential that policymakers and the medical community recognize the urgent need for independent, peer-reviewed research, open data sharing, and public education.
The Unhidden Foundation welcomes constructive feedback on this report.
Submissions can be sent to contact@unhidden.org and will inform the development of a second edition aimed at deepening the analysis and broadening the research base.
UAP encounters are not just a matter of national security or aviation safety , but they could actually be harming people. It’s time to take that seriously.
