CASE HISTORY

The Coyame UFO Crash

Mexico’s Most Secretive UFO Incident

--

The Incident

According to reports, on the night of August 25th, 1974, U.S. radar stations in Texas detected an unknown object moving over the Gulf of Mexico at a high speed. The object reportedly changed course and headed inland, flying over Mexican airspace. At the same time, a small civilian aircraft took off from El Paso, Texas, en route to Mexico City. Shortly after entering Mexican airspace, the two objects appeared to collide mid-air, crashing into the remote desert near Coyame, Chihuahua.

U.S. officials, who were monitoring the unknown object, attempted to contact their Mexican counterparts to offer assistance. However, reports indicate that the Mexican government refused U.S. help and instead dispatched its own military team to recover the wreckage.

The Recovery and the Cover-Up

What happened next is where the story takes a truly mysterious turn. Allegedly, the Mexican military arrived at the crash site and secured the area. However, when U.S. surveillance planes later flew over the site, they noted something unusual — the Mexican military convoy that had transported the wreckage was completely abandoned, with all personnel found dead under unknown circumstances.
